KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Distribution Channels Onboarding
  • To ensure smooth running of sales intermediaries / agents onboarding process through systematic and timely registrations process
  • To ensure new sales intermediaries / agents comply with the requirements of LIAM and BNM by performing the required background screening and the required product training
  • To perform the required regulatory background check and screen for credit worthiness
  • To perform timely registration of sales intermediaries/agents in the system, agent code allocation, appointment as GBSN sales agent and enrollment to LIAM.
B. Sales Intermediaries / Agents Hierarchy Maintenance
  • To ensure accurate set up and maintenance of sales hierarchy in the GBSN system
  • To efficiently administer and process sales intermediaries / agent movement, promotion, demotion, termination and reinstatement; including transfer of servicing rights and policies
C. Distribution Channels Admin
  • To supervise and ensure the accuracy of all sales reports, contest results, management reports, regulatory reports, etc. and meet the datelines for these reports.   
  • To continuously ensure sales force have valid requirements / licenses to practice by proactively notifying channels on their sales force license status every six (6) months from the relevant governing bodies.
  • To ensure timely disbursement of claims, benefits, tax invoices and the related
  • To prepare and supervise regulatory reports and those related to sales force admin and management.
  • To ensure all the required registrations/licenses/fees are up to date and to maintain subscription with relevant bodies i.e. CTOS and LIAM
  • To generate relevant reports to support channels and those pertinent to regulatory bodies as per required either on periodical or need basis.
D. Others
  • Any other activities or projects for business enhancements and improvements as may be assigned by the management and/or superior.
  • Coordinates the involvement of relevant department in the organization, to help support sales channels meet performance objectives and company’s expectations.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates channels administrative needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate feedback/submission to LIAM, BNM and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of distribution channels administration matters and hierarchy management
  • Ensure all tasks and assignments given are completed within the timelines and delivered with precision

REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably with minimum of 8 years of experience in the life insurance industry
  • Experience in agency administration and reporting
  • Managerial experience of a team of analysts
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience in business intelligence and analytics would be an added advantage
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking
