ANNOUNCEMENT - Extension of COVID-19 Test Fund (CTF) Coverage for Emergency/ Semi-Emergency Surgery

We would like to inform that the coverage under the COVID-19 Test Fund (CTF) for emergency or semi-emergency surgeries has been extended until 31 October 2020 or earlier if the CTF has been fully utilised.

The CTF is an RM8 million special relief fund set up by the insurance industry to support the Ministry of Health’s efforts to conduct more COVID-19 tests for Malaysians. The CTF provides a fixed cash reimbursement up to RM300 (one time per individual) for the cost of COVID-19 testing under individual or group Medical and Health Insurance policies/takaful certificates.
