Gibraltar BSN And Post Malaysia Expand Partnership - Malaysian Reserve

Gibraltar BSN Life Bhd expands its partnership with Pos Malaysia Bhd under a new distribution agreement which offers its insurance products at the latter's branches nationwide.

In a joint statement yesterday, the companies said the agreement will see dedicated financial services officers (FSOs) introduced at selected Pos Malaysia outlets across Malaysia including Shah Alam, Kuantan and Johor Baru among others.

They said the FSO, jointly accredited and trained by Gibraltar BSN and Pos Malaysia via customised training programmes, will be able to provide advice on insurance products offered at Pos Malaysia.

Through this collaboration with Pos Malaysia, Gibraltar BSN said it aims to create a broader understanding on life insurance benefits and educate customers on the advantages of financial protection.

"Customers will have access to expert advice, the ability to purchase on the spot using a simple process and a range of affordable products that fit their individual needs," it said.

Gibraltar BSN CEO Vincent Kwo said the company has been working closely with Pos Malaysia over the last several years and was delighted to strengthen the partnership with the introduction of the FSO initiative.

Meanwhile, Pos Malaysia group CEO Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh said this collaboration brings a unique and differentiated model to our outlet with FSOs utilising iPads and specialised workstations to serve customers, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for all.

"We are confident that this new model will deliver positive results and look forward to expanding our team of FSOs to more Pos Malaysia branches in the months to come," said Mohd Shukrie.

Gibraltar BSN and Pos Malaysia currently offer the "Pos Hayat" and "Pos Bestari" life insurance plans at Pos Malaysia outlets.
