Orphanage Gets Makeover Courtesy Of Insurance Company - The Star

The children of Al-Nasuha Orphanage Home in Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur, recently welcomed employees and agents of Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad, as part of the life insurance company's community outreach initiative.

The visit was the third for the year under Gibraltar BSN's "Our Children, Our Future" (OCOF) Programme, following visits to orphanages in Penang and Malacca.

Gibraltar BSN staff and Grow Rich Advisory Agency, one of Gibraltar BSN's authorised agencies, were greeted by their excited young hosts upon their arrival.

The atmosphere at the orphanage was filled with activity and fun, as the OCOF team enthusiastically launched into their planned home makeover.

From new furniture and appliances to freshly painted walls, the volunteers' efforts saw the home transformed by lunchtime, when a delicious meal was served for all.

Under the OCOF programme, employees and selected authorised agencies will volunteer their services at several children's homes, to help make a difference to the lives of underprivileged children around the country.

Gibraltar BSN chief executive officer Vincent Kwo said: "From providing our customers with quality insurance products, to giving back to the communities in which we operate, our mission is to provide protection to everyone."

"It provides us with the opportunity to do some truly good work. We hope our efforts through this programme will have a positive impact on the kids and their future."

Grow Rich Advisory agency manager Mohd Redzan Che'Amat said the programme was a great initiative that reached out to the less fortunate to help make a difference.
